Sotra Bridge, connecting Fjell to the mainland just SE of Bergen.

(Guess where I'm thinking of going next season)

The ship is more difficult, certainly two probably three masts, main and foremast square rigged, mizzen fore and aft rigged, very long bow sprit, perhaps a Norwegian ship.

What about this one?

Any one got any other suggestions

How do the bridge users make that transition between brwon and grey roadway? The sea changes colour ominously too. But the shadow of the bridge seems to line up well both sides. How do they do that at Google Earth?

And there's a hellish looking Z bend at the Eastern end of the bridge. I think STS Staadsrad Lehmkuhl is a fair guess, looks about the right size.

too, the boats on davits look to be in the right places, I don't have any idea what the white blobs are amidships tho', maybe compainonways?

It's pretty obvious that the bridge moved between snaps, I've seen it before, set the tripod up all steady and start doing a photo montage thing, the bloody subject moves and ruins it.

Statsraad_Lehmkuhl?

She was in Portsmouth on Saturday, I could have touched her.

Made Lord Nelson look a little scruffy, mind.
