Seminole is my parents ship, they keep it in Tarbert, though they don't get so far these days.

Just heard that they are going to take it to Tayvallich next year, if they can get someone to help through the canal, I took about 3ms for me to volunteer for that one.
Seminole.

I've just had another look at TOP, and I know why I don't look in, I can't find owt.

Is Scuttlebut, the YM forum? I'm more a PBO man meself with aspirations to YW, not.

Is it "the lounge" folk keep refering to too? Where is that? Cancel that, just found it, cunningly labeled "the lounge" as a disguise.

From they way folk keep coming back here to calm down, I think I'm best keeping out of it sometimes, but I'm too nosy.

No it's not the Lounge.

If you found the Lounge you should find Scuttlebutt
PBO uses the same forum as YM
Go to www.pbo.co.uk, click on forums, click on YM Scuttlebutt

Or follow Ash's links.

Edmund emptied his camera into my computer, so -

Close-hauled reaching with the invisible foresail. This is the way "Sahona" was designed to make upwind passages.

And downwind, this way, cheaper and quieter by far.

Thanks, Knight Vision.

Taken 24th May when I was heading to Rothesay from Largs, this Claymore was on a reciprocal course.

Think so - these Marcon Claymores are ten a penny !!!

Have a look Here, and follow any links for the story.

Claymore's Claymore Claymore is staying at Fleetwood this year, due to GrandPa duties, IIRC.

I understood that
Claymore's Claymore Claymore is staying at Fleetwood this year, due to GrandPa duties, IIRC.
Stormy lives in Preston and we had a day out at Fleetwood which isn't a million miles away, didn't clap eyes on Claymore's Claymore Claymore though, it was a while ago though, me timing may be out, slept since then.

I saw the thread about someone elses Claymore "Claymore", with the swords, or Claymores possibly, all over it. That Claymore was snapped on the hard as I remember.

I don't suppose I can get one within my budget, it's a shame, the compromise may well be towards comfort, who cares about performance????
Seminole.

I get confused too, more so when Nom de Plume's here and TOP are different.

Anyway, IIRC

The one in Fleetwood, Profile

The one in the Clyde, Profile, I think.

Another on the Clyde, luckily not called Claymore, Profile.

And this one in the States,Profile.

The Fleetwood one has been known to fly along under a Grey/Green spinaker, and of course there's the 48hp topsail.

It might tick all the boxes for the Galley Slave, but may stretch the Budget.

Some lovely pics of Sahona there
Point of clarification Claymore's Claymore, Claymore is not actually in Fleetwood but is nestling ashore in what are fast becoming permanent quarters, some 3 miles up-river. The capping rail has been replaced. I've cut the saloon floor out and am having a stainless fresh water tank made to measure, the calorifier is not quite in yet but we've skinned a few knuckles trying it for size.
The headlinings are next on the list

Grandpa duties are to the fore as I write as the family are currently staying with us.
Grandpa is the very proudest of persons as he was the first to be called by name and is currently winning hands-down in the popularity stakes with the daily purchase of toys for the bath and such.
Unfortunately I am known as "Gaga" - this has caused much mirth in family circles and confirmed what they were all thinking anyway.
Regards
Claymore

GaGa? Just be grateful; mine call me "Grumpy". I do my best to live up to it, but I suspect they see thro' me.
