Looks like they only do rectangles for custom flags, but I will check them out.

Even if they only do rectangles we could trim and hem them ourselves.

I used to be "a stitch in time" in Alicante - still have the machine... but I can only do lighthouses...

Looking at the poll results so far I can tell you that all my earlier enquiries indicate that there is very little chance of a decent quality flag of that design at under £10 - if anyone knows where to source them at that price then could they please point me in the right direction?
The VAGB burgee has a label, but I've no idea what it says - I could have a look the next time that I'm up. As to shape, it is like a very long triangle with the point cut off, a tapered rectangle if that makes any sense.

Obiously I didn't include you, assuming, as usual, that Kathy would do the skilled work.

Have just emailed another half dozen flag companies - 4 in the US, 2 in the UK.

Watch this space.

I will see if I can find out where the "Kippers" get theirs from, they only seem to order in small quantities.

I've tried them as well now.

North Flags have got back to me and it looks like about $15 (say £8.50) a pop if I order 50 of them - assuming there are no hidden costs. 20 on the other hand are $19 each which is £10.50 (plus postage out to the recipients of course - say £12.00)

Only thing that is worrying is the 'approx' value for DHL shipping

I would be willing to pay £10.50 +pp for a BM burgee

I would be happy to pay £8.50 +pp for the same

Double post , sorry

I've just had a look at the North Flags quote.

Not knowing much about such things, what sort of material is "400D Nylon"?

Is it the same sort of stuff that flags in this part of the world are traditionally made of ?

And what do you think they mean by "appliqued"(can't find the accent).

But it still seems a good price.
