Yes

Righteousness can be a terrible strain.
Be reasonable? I didn't get where I am today by being reasonable.

No, righteousness is easy. Just ask Mr. Baggins - he has it down to a fine art.

BTW OP, you might want to fix your profile where it says 'Company Driector'

“To be able to destroy with good conscience, to be able to behave badly and call your bad behavior "righteous indignation" - this is the height of psychological luxury, the most delicious of moral treatsâ€Â

“But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites:
there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.â€Â

Miserere mei, Deus....

or

"Help ma boab!"

This from a wee lass today who lives not very far away. She used to crew for me.
"I just wanted to share this with you as it is quite relevant and really does make you think about how fortunate we are.
With all the news on TV lately about changes in global climate, hurricanes in America and melting ice caps, we shouldn't forget that the UK has its share of devastating weather too - including yesterday with the gales and high winds and thunder storms that most of us experienced.

Attached is a photo illustrating the damage caused to my friend's home in Kent from the recent storm that passed through. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted."
