Light winds this weekend, strong sea breezes

Post by weatherman »

Hi everyone,

A quick heads-up on the weekend, and you can see more at http://www.weatherweb.tv

Although the prevailing winds apear to be lght, I think some fairly strong sea breezes will be developing. Thundery showers are likely inland, these perhaps drifting over eastern coasts.

Can't realy put my finger on whether you'll say 'okay sailing' or not, as I suspect the mornings could be F2-F3 and the afternoons F5-F6 close to shore (at least the south and east). Manlu F4-F5 in the west.

Of course things may change but just thought you might like to know the latest thinking?

No wind and loads of rain for Windermere no doubt.

The local Rotary have a bit of a do this weekend. The RAF send the Red Arrows as a thankyou for all the mid week noise and it's generaly a good show. http://www.windermere-rotary.org.uk/airshow_new.html
