They Froggies

Post by claymore »

Just been reading about the Froggie Fishermen blockading in the English Cruising boats in a number of ports and causing a fair bit of damage and intimidation in the name of protest about fuel costs.

Its one thing terrorising a load of peaceful law-abiding pensioners - shame they were not so brave in 1939.

Life has come to a sad pass when one has to respond to one's own post because the rest of ye cannae be fashed.

Perhaps we could up it a gear - how long do ye think it'll take they fishermen tae make a rush for the tunnel if theyGermans ever get near Paris again?

Living as I am in the land of Carlsberg and the Pastries I feel fully entitled to post this - the Son-in-Law wasnae too impressed today when ah mentioned the Danish capitultion tae Adolf's lads

It didnae make his joinery any better...

I think the French are still pissed off about being abandoned at Dunkirk.

I would be careful what you say about them other Johnny Foreigners, there is a rumour going round that Sandi Toksvig is looking for a stool so she can reach to bite your knees when you get back.

I think the Germans have a cunning plan to take over Europe without a shot being fired.

We spent the last war helping the frogs, clogs and assorted wogs fight against the spagetti munchers and sausage scoffers, and now we're all Europeans together :!:

Time for us British to bale out of this continental fiasco, if you ask me.

Not too sure about this Carlsberg stuff.

It seems to have made you unusually belligerent.

I would suggest a little more subtlety in your attempts to rend Europe apart.

British policy for the 900 years before the 1960s was based on provoking various Europeans to fight each other while we made a best guess at who wouold win and joined the winning side. This ensured that the European countries were in a constant state of tension as to who would invade whom next.

It should be your policy and task to sow the maximum discontent among our European partners thereby causing mutual recriminations, discord and finally open aggression, thus enabling us to find a new winner to urge on to eventual destruction, thereby restoring Her Britannic Majesty's United Kingdom to its rightful position of Top Nation.

A heavy responsibility but we have every confidence.

Or you could just eat the pastries, I suppose.

Most interesting.

Of course you do realise that it's against the rules to introduce factual matter into jingoistic rants... :D

Quite right.

I mean - spoiling a perfectly good argument by introducing facts.
