Marina Rating System

Post by Nick »

Have been toying with the idea of setting up a simple, anonymous voting system where people can give a vote from one star to five to marinas they have visited.

Does anyone think this is a good idea? I did a similar thing with training schools on my microlighting site here, and it was generally well received.

(I'm always open to any suggestions to make this site more useful)

hi Nick, I think the star system would be a terrific way to score Marinas. would you seperate them into facilities, friendliness and cost etc?

Marinas?

I can understand people having berths in them, but why would anyone want to visit one, except perhaps for diesel or a shower or something?

Nup, sounds like a bad idea. Just encourage more of the annoying people, taking away anchorages, moorings etc.

The post was made before I created a sig file.

What do you mean, why does it exist or how did I create it?

i won`t even ask what a sig is. i just wondered if you were experimenting with a view to changing from the blue.
