Mrs and youngest daughter are looking for a long weekend on Arran.
Trouble is it's NEXT weekend! Thursday to Monday
Could anybody recommend a good clean B&B/guesthouse/family hotel ??
They will be travelling by train/ferry, so something close to Brodick would be best, I think.
What has this to do with sailing, I hear you ask. Well, if they're away . . . .
Cheers
Jim

I've usually camped. Lugging a tent up Glen Rosa through the midges is very traditional...Rowana wrote: Could anybody recommend a good clean B&B/guesthouse/family hotel ??
I did once stay at a "holiday lodge" complex on the outskirts of Brodick. Can't remember its name, but the tourist board should be able to help. It was quite good, with a swimming pool, bar, etc.

You could try Arran Hideaways who should be able to point you in the right direction.

It seems to have gone a bit up market since I was there. I don't remember so many hotels and stars...
