Moving yet again so having a clear out incl books. Got a copy of "The Ridiculous Mountains" - since some of you have previous on the hill and it's Scot based, it's on offer for nowt to anyone interested. It would just baffle these southerners.

A wonderful book! I have a copy already (and its successor "Nothing so Simple as Climbing"), but for those aquainted with the Scottish hills, but not with Mr. Dutton's splendid tales, you've a real treat in store.

Not Rum Doodle, I think that was someone else (but annoyingly I can't find my copy of it to check).
The others, yes: the Doctor, the Apprentice and the (un-named) Narrator. Some of the stories first appeared in the SMC Journal.
