WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST

SATURDAY:
High pressure is centred to the east of the country on Saturday. A warm front is passing northwards through much of the west of the British Isles and Ireland with a more organised area of front moving into Ireland during the afternoon.
Western parts of the country are going to be cloudy with some outbreaks of rain. Drizzle and light rain on western coasts with mist patches drifting
onshore.
Cloudier skies through southern and eastern areas, but some bright spells here as well. It should be dry through the day.
Winds will be mainly SE 10-15 (F3-F4) but increasing to a SE 20 (F5) through western areas.
SUNDAY:
Fronts are expected to be meandering around the country during the course of the day on Sunday. It is very hard to predict what conditions each of these are going to bring and so you should keep a very careful eye on the forecasts during the course of the weekend.
Latest indications are that there will be some thundery bursts of rain affecting much of Wales, Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland on Sunday morning. Drier through the Midlands, East Anglia and southeast England, as well as Ireland.
During the afternoon the thundery rain continues across Scotland, northern England and spreads into the Midlands and central southern England. A few thundery showers could spread into southeast England.
Becoming drier and brighter over western Wales and southwest England, with fair weather for much of Ireland.
Winds will be generally SE 10-15 (F4) ahead of the rain band, becoming SW 10-12 (F3) behind it.
