Re: Bulk Purchasing and Buying Power
I now have a very short shopping list but I suspect these are not going to be needed in sufficient quantity to make a difference but here goes: Paddlewheel log - probably NASA Clipper On the Wish List but unlikely to be bought at anything like list prices: Radar enhancer - Echomax or Seeme. Active ...

Re: Website proofreading time again
Seems to work OK on my Samsung phone. I probably wouldn't use it on my phone as the screen is a bit small, and my eye is getting a wee bit dim.
I tend to use my "proper" computer for the internet anyway. I think using the phone is a bit of a gimmick as the screen is just too small.

Probably "round the corner" into the Moray Firth (Again!), and see how the weather is. Possibly Wick, and perhaps Orkney if the weather is favourable.
But then again, I may go south . . . .

Nick, That plug looks like it hasn't been modified by Beta from the original Kubota one. On Rowana, and in the Beta manual, that plug has been removed and replaced by an elbow, then the plug screwed into that. I had mine out at the weekend, and replaced the coolant no bother. I presume you have the ...

Re: Cowal Hills
Inventive man will come up with new or improved ways to harness energy from the sun (or derivatives) that will cope, but unless we experiment, we'll not find them. Otherwise our choice is to use less (turn off the lights) or poison the atmosphere continuing using fossil fuels. Or have less people o...

Re: Beta BZ 482 12.5HP - draining water jacket
On Rowana I was able to get a open ended spanner, about 8mm from memory, on to the square, and out came the plug. The plug screws into an elbow which is screwed to the block, I had a bit of bother getting the water to flow as the elbow was bunged up. Eventually cleared it with a bit of wire. It's a ...
