Apparently a huge wave came over the breakwater not long after this new marina was opened and did a lot of damage. Fortunately a large fleet of yachts had left the day before. You can see that some of the piles are bent, and most of the pontoons have been removed. We were told that the marina was closed pending the settlement of the insurance claim.
