The guy running that seems to have a lot of energy - or a lot of time?
But good to see some activity to keep us interested over winter. Between doing the winter jobs nice to be reminded of why we do it all...
Now off to service 10 lifejackets!

Yeah, I really like the group. After having a year with no sailing, I love to see videos and pictures, as its something I think is missing from this forum and others.
Kenny certainly seems keen, maybe too much at times, but I already find it my favourite boating site and think he's doing a great thing.

A forum tends to have as many videos and pictures as people care to post.
The facility to post YouTube vids and photos from photobucket is there.

My point is not that they cant post images, rather the facility is there, but very very few use it.
Maybe as part of a couple of car forums im just used to people posting up pics of their pride and joys. I thought that as most people on the sailing forums were into sailing there would be more photos of the places they have been, their boats or work they've had done, or are currently doing to them.
The occasional where is it, is about as frequent as it gets.
On the facebook site loads of people post up pics from their trips, and its nice to see. Ive seen a lot of places myself, lots of pics of places I haven't and a lot of places I now want to visit aswell because i've seen pics of them.

There used to be a lot more pics of places. Some of our posters were very prolific. Shard for example posted a lot of detailed reports of little-known anchorages.
Not sure what search terms would dig these up - anyone want to do any research?
And don't forget the main site. Although it is not maintained these days due to a lack of time there are still a lot of good
articles
