Removing Treadmaster

I'm contemplating removing about 10 sq mtrs of the stuff and I did a small test patch with an Aldi £24 multi-tool scraper which showed the glue to be quite dark. It was laid 19 yrs ago and I'm thinking they used Sikaflex and not the Treadmaster epoxy which is a cream colour. Of course, it could be any other epoxy ....
If Sikaflex, it would explain how less effort was required to remove the patch.
ps. The vibration from the Aldi tool after only a short while convinced me to open the wallet and buy a Fein multi-tool at £200. Jings it's good.
I'm thinking of using translucent 2mm thick Correx for the templates. If anyone has an alternative eg card, please let me know.
