Following on from my previous announcement I thought you might like to know that our youngest daughter, the lovely and talented wee S, has today graduated MBChB Edin to add to her BSc (Hons) StA and is to be unleashed on the ailing public at the end of the month.

Anyone who sets a target and does what's required to make it happen is a winner in my book.

Is my assumption that she is now a doctor correct?

Yes a genuine doctor regardless of her big sister announcing on facebook that she had been awarded an honorary degree and yes 1+6 years is a long haul. However she still looks about 18 so if you should be so unfortunate as to end up in Ipswich in the ICU try not to panic if you are approached by a pretty teenager with a stethoscope round her neck.

Well there's little doubt about that but correlation isn't necessarily causation as I'm sure you know.
