Much smaller than BlueMoment, so it is actually possible that I could keep it up to date. I managed to check all the links this afternoon, scrap the dead ones and put in a few new ones.

Would you consider a Clyde one? Increased exposure and greater chances of revenue streams. It is a nice site, straight to the point, simple to use, nothing cryptic and relevant too; features not always found on other sites.

You could have a series of identical sites: Sail Clyde, Sail Forth,Sail Solway etc and capture the market in definitive access points for leisure sailors in these areas. Perhaps the work required to maintain the sites would not be that cumbersome. This is the sort of thing that captures peoples imagination, people like familiarity and relevant content. When I look through my web based sailing resources in my 'favourites' listing, it is a real mish mash of data presentation methods the majority of which are not intuitive at all.

I wonder if it would be better that links open a new tab/page rather than loose the place on your website?

A few omissions from the marina list, Nick - Tarbet, Portavadie, Holy Loch, Rothesay, Port Bannatyne..... and don't forget Carrick and Lochgoilhead. Argyll, after all, is more than just the westerly bit.

I have adopted Blowing Old Boots' suggestion and have just registered SailClyde.co.uk . . . these marinas will be appearing on that site. I have also registered SailHighland.co.uk and SailHebs.co.uk , so there will be a complete West Coast set eventually.

Not for the future of this forum.

BlueMoment may in time become an umbrella site for the Scottish regional sites, and the archive of articles, poetry etc. will be preserved. The BlueMoment directory however is unlikely to ever be completely updated now as I do not have time and it is not a commercial proposition (to say the least). A pity as I had made substantial inroads into revamping the site http://www.bluemoment.com/newsite - but it is impractical to complete it.
