What a behemoth and it is about to be superseded by a bigger ship! Some good pics that relate its size to the usual football pitches but the picture of the man and engine and the yacht sailing across the stern. It raises a couple of interesting points though. In deep water, where this vessel is not constrained by her draft would one expect her to give way, yes, is the answer based on Col Regs, but could she? The other point is the anchors, stockless Naval types, I doubt that they would work, they just look so small.

They have a sauna and a gym on the bridge?
A bicycle might be more use, to get from the port side of the bridge to the starboard!

Wonder where the last pic is taken, then one with the yacht sailing near the stern? Is that sail number 2237 ?

Seems a long stroke on the engine.

Interesting too, how journalists make comparisons. I'd never have thought to measure engine output as 18,000 vacuum cleaners.
