Ally no mates - well, not quite so bad this year

There are some on the forum who may remember that last year at just about this time I issued a plea for volunteers to take part in the prestigious King George V cup race at Gourock on my wee Contessa 32 ("wee" 'cos even the vertically challenged K.McC. is swanning around in at least 36' of plastic) - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7901 refers. Thanks entirely to the efforts of Pete, Geoff, Sandy, Bill and Andy - mug shots on viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7909 - we stormed through and won the muckle great cup which made this old man very happy.
This year's race is on next Saturday 30th August and I'm not quite so desperate as last year, having 2 very race-experienced sexagenarians signed up, and possibly one much younger and definitely more attractive young lady who hasn't actually said "no", I still have room (i.e. desperately need) one or two more bodies to abuse. Experience would be good, tolerance of an excitable skipper better, and a sense of humour absolutely necessary. So, if you fancy helping me to defend the Auld Mug (actually 1926), send me a PM for anonymity or stand up and be counted on the forum.
Race starts at 1300 from Ashton. I intend to be on the boat, limbering up and whipping the crew into shape about 1100. Transport from Edinburgh cross country is available. Drinks, barbecue and music happen afterwards. Bring your own sannies for lunch.
I'll now sit back and await the avalanche of replies!
