Why would one select this as an option either permanently under Board Preferences in User Control Panel or during log-in?
Just idle curiosity really.

Probably only to prevent Dear Heart from calculating my time online when she is doing one of her interminable time and motion studies of my good self

Otherwise, I don't see the value of the option either.
