With regards to the Warp to Chain Splice as depicted on this site.
It says to place a consrictor knot at the end of each strand.
Can anyone expand on this

You can see the constrictor knot quite clearly in the pictures. It is really just a whipping which prevents the rope coming undone further down than you want.
