Winter resolutions

I don't make New Years resolutions normally, but after emptying the "stuff" out of the boat today, I resolved not to take aboard so much next Spring.
There's stuff that never got used, nopr the previous year, in fact can't remember it being used, so why do I take it?
It came out, so it goes back in. Not a good reason really.

So instead of bringing a big trailer load of stuff home next year, I hope to bring a small trailerload!

I don't think it's possible not to load up your boat with un used junk?

I am of the same mind. I had to lighten Sahona in order to meet lifting limitations and laid some of the debris out in the shed. Out of a full set of spanners, only two or three are ever used. Chisels, drills, drifts, the list goes on. A hangover from liveaboard days when self-sufficiency was a priority I guess.
Anyway - we failed. The boat was 2 CWT heavier than previous years although not the heaviest in the club I'm glad to say - the focus has shifted to a Nic32 which came in at 6.6 tonnes.
Now to prioritise the 'list'...
