Swinging / drying moorings in the North East of England

Hi.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with information on swinging moorings in the North East of England. I'm thinking of squanderingthe kids' inheritance on a catamaran and the chance of a (cheaper) swing mooring seems like a good idea, if I can find one.
The only places i have found are the seasonal (lumpy) moorings at Seahouses and the Friar Goose boatclub on the Tyne. Does anybody know of any others within striking distance of Newcastle?
Thanks,
Ravi
