A lovely day

In Craobh. Sunshine and sea like a mirror. A change from yesterday when we woke to find Tinker's Hole full of fog. An excellent couple of weeks even though the distances covered have not been great.

I'm fairly sure I passed you in the Steamer Passage as you were coming out of Tinker's Hole - there aren't many big green boats... That fog wasn't a lot of fun. I stayed in Tinker's hole for about 3 hours waiting for it to clear. There was much more tidal effect there than I remembered: at the turn boats were pointing in all directions and trying to drift into each other. Once the fog thinned a bit I moved round to anchor at Erraid Pier which I had to myself.

All the time...

Had a very nice afternoon swimming, SUP-ing and windsurfing down in the wee bay.

Was Claymore on Claymore? Someone was.

( He tends to sneak in and out if Ardfern 'cos its his round.)

Thursday 18th, just after 1100? We weren't aware of any vessesl coming in but we might have been concentrating on the forward sector. You are a brave man - or something - to have gone in among all those lumps of granite in that very poor visibility.

Greetings from berth Delta 9 in Craobh, just a few along from Avilion. Went up, just to pay our fees, and got distracted along to the pub. By the time we came back to make our tea, Avilion is closed up, so apologies if we missed you. Apologies too if we spilled your tea when we came in - the berth was shorter than anticipated and Mistral attempted to mount the walkway, but only in a friendly way.

Came back to the boat to find a sister Vega, Aisling, in the next berth. We met her many years ago on a Scottish Vega weekend when Mistral was on Loch Lomond and we were very kindly given berths on Fairwinds.

I see another Vega, nearer the shore, don't recognise her, and can't remember her name. Will need to have another look.

Actually sailed today, when past Craobh, and up Loch Melfort a wee bit.

Found 5.5 knts of favourable tide coming through Doris Mor.

Need to stop for my tea.

Ash

Not trying to drop you in it or anything but, I took Erica out for tea one night in Croabh. Just saying like.
