It just makes me feel all warm, inside and out, so I thought I should share.

We were discussing the reupholstering of the saloon that evening and decided that closely buttoned deep red leather would give just the right victorian gentlemen's club atmosphere.

The Jura would appear to be light on her marks.
If you aregoing for the red leather, buttoned look I feel you should include a footstool

Mega thread drift: -

Is your stove on the saloon forward bulkhead? If it is do you have any issues with heat on the table? I have the same stove but it was in the heads locker with the front against a cut out in the bulkhead. I have removed it for lots of reasons but was thinking of placing it on the saloon forward bulkhead, in front of the table?

That is a nice Whisky collection.

The table seems to have suffered no ill effects. The bulkhead above the stove or behind the chimney, sans protective metal, does get a bit warm but likewise seems to have stood up to it well.

The Highland Park, sadly is no more as of last night, so I think we wil ned to replace it with something. I believe here is another bottle of Jura aboard but I might have been suffering double vision.

Does anyone recall that wonderful wine and whisky shop in Campbeltown?
They had a fantastic range of Springbank, some of which was very rare - and expensive.
You came up into the town off the pontoon then turned right I recall.
