A technical workshop is being held on Monday 17 December to look at the final options for developing the berthing facilities in Campbeltown loch, including onshore facilities. The event is being run by Argyll and Bute Council in Campbeltown Town Hall from 15.30pm and all are welcome.
Martin Latimer, of CSM Scotland, Fairhurst’s marina consultants said, “I would encourage all those with an interest in how the marina will operate in harmony with other harbour and commercial uses to come along to the workshop. Local input will be vital in the development of the business plan. CSM would also like to hear from any local businesses that see opportunities to work with the marina to increase its overall economic impact on Campbeltown.”
The consultation will be open from 15:30pm where members of the project team will be available to discuss proposals. A short presentation will be held from 17:30pm with a question and answer session afterwards.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, please contact Fiona Anderson on 01546 604255, or email fiona.anderson2@argyll-bute.gov.uk. You can also write to Fiona at Development and Infrastructure, Argyll and Bute Council, 1A Manse Brae, Lochgilphead, PA31 8RD before 17 December 2012.
