After nearly five wks of hard work, I just wanted to share my new creation with you all.
Due to the property been a listed building and in a conservation area I had to ensure it matched the existing neighbours dormer, which of course made it much more expensive and challenging.
Oh and the weather did not help much although I did manage to prevent any water damage.

.
Looks like a brilliant job Eamonn - and very satisfying.

Not the best time of year for cutting holes in roofs.

Well Done. Looks like a lot of work. That must be worth a lot of sailing brownie points.

Top Job Eamonn. I'm sure building control will be happy. You could sell that now and move on and do another one.

Looks like the neighbours know you're starting the way you mean to finish.
Hope they haven't had the locks changed by the time you get back again!

Very nice. Are the DG Sash Windows built by a window company or joiner built? I am looking to replace my single pane sash windows next year.

They are sash and casement lookalikes, both the top and bottom windows tilt out and upside down for cleaning from inside.
We had them made by Illingworth Bros in Broxburn (the cheapest quote), a longstanding timber window manufacturer, Phone number; 01506854248, I dealt with Christine.
Timber windows are to say the least Very expensive, but its a listed building and conservation area so had to use them.

Must have been quite a reserved session then - no mention of the Fields of Athenry or other boistrous behaviour, were you alone?

Aye Bill alone alright.
A southerly in the bay right enough, but thankfully dident result in a party as the potential guest couldent make it ashore!
Link will be attached soon.

Is that the liveaboard in the tin boat? Looks like it's had a coat of paint at last.
Don't envy him...
