Seahorses?

Exciting feature by the delectable Jackie Bird on the Beeb news the other night that people are being asked to report seahorse sightings in Scottish waters. Poor wee beasties - are they now to be hunted down here the same way as in Studland Bay (wherever that is)?
Do the Scottish ones need eel grass or are they at home in kelp? And if kelp is their preferred environment will we be banned from dredging up tons of the stuff on our anchors?

I presume from Studland Bay's other reputations that seahorse thrive on nudism and sexual exhibitionism. Surely Scotland's too cold for either of those?

I don't know, pick a nice day and just about anything is worth a try.
