Some time in the last couple of days some low life dirt bags have stolen three Craignish Boat Club outboards from the Lagoon- the 15 HP Suzuki was taken from a boat moored off the shore making me suspect the scum were on a boat.

If anyone sees a boat cruising about with more than the usual number of OBM's in this area, please call the cops

There was a spate of this N. of Oban the year before last. The gang involved were using a RIB. I saw them once, coming into Dallens bay in an unlit RIB when I was on a mooring there for the night. I assumed they were from the nearby fish farm, but in the morning was told that several outboards had gone missing during the night.

So - if you see any suspicious unlit boats going about, maybe flash them with a megabeam, note as much detail as you can and phone the constabulary.
