Olympic Flame on Windymere

Someone has posted a pic of Chiron anchored off Bowness after the Olympic flame flotilla.

I really enjoyed coming down the lake with all the other boats. It was getting quite late when the photo was taken so it looks more glum than it was.

I see no sign of a tender Bob, I assume you walk out to Chiron?

We had it with us, we must have been mooching round the Glebe in the crowds.
There were loads of stalls/vans selling grub and not much else.
It started raining so we didn't stop long, watched some of the pyrotechnics from the Wardens.

I'm still practicing walking ashore but Erica can't get the hang of it so I usually row.
