Now didn't something world shattering happen in 1966 - so important that it is mentioned every time that ........

I can't be bothered - it's of no interest to anyone.

We had a family holiday in Salcome. I spent my 8th birthday in Looe and got a fishing rod, never used it again.
It must have been earth shattering because I can't remember where I spent most of my other birthdays which were usually away.
One at Scout camp in Guernsey, don't know what year.

I've rewritten the bible in free verse from Noah's point of view and am in the process of translating it into Klingon. In 1966 I discovered a portal into another universe and nearly caught a fish.

Can't see those bubbles disappearing any time soon . . .

1966 was the year before the Foot and Mouth epidemic and the year before I left school.

Diana Barrington loomed large at that time as I discovered jelly wasn't the only thing that wobbled

In 1966 I was 19 and full of testosterone. I was driving round in a 1953 Austin Somerset - Oil change and replace the cylinder head gasket every 3000 miles.

Happy daze :D :D
