Hummingbird lags behind enough without reducing her sail plan.
Dont think it would be big enough, my mast is 36ft long, well was, its now 18ft. :(
Thanks for thinking of me Ash.
Is that number for the owner?
Is she stranded or sunk, badly damaged?
Not that I am interested but I know someone who might be.
Had insurers appointed surveyor surveying HB today, just need to wait now.

Kathy and I just had a quick look on our way back from the airport on Monday. She is definitely holed in at least one place below the waterline, maybe an 8" dia. hole. It was bl00dy freezing though so we didn't make a very thorough examination.

If your mate is really interested Eamonn I suggest he phones the owner and has a chat. After that, if he is still interested I would be prepared to go up to Connell to have another look.

Fairly straightforward, means money doesn't change hands.

What happens after you acquire the vessel is another matter of course.

I passed Connel today and there seemed to be two boats on the beach.

Suprised to see these 2 boats still on the rocks 10 days later, especially given that they're within easy reach of a crane from the road. What's the story?

Some hull repairs have been done on the Fantasia - guess they'll try and re-float her.
I'm told that the owner of the larger yacht is in prison in Thailand.
