Well not quite since he is going to work for Alba but he is currently working his notice at the marina.

End of an era.

Anyone know of any cheap moorings in the area?

Unfortunately for all based in Dunstaffnage, the owner and his sidekick won't realise what they have lost until the volume and substance of complaints gets out of hand.
I wish Tim well for his future.
Wonder who'll be leaving next?

Strangely enough one of the breakfast topics on board Bagheera this morning was how the current owners/management are running Dunstaffnage into the ground. If they are prepared to let Tim go then all I can say is they have even less business acumen than the management at Webcraft Towers.

I noticed him eating at the Frog one day with someone deep in discussion. Perhaps that was a job interview.

Doesn't he have two relatives also working there?

Yeh can only agree with all said above.
Tim will be sadly missed, the owner (never met) needs to talk to the people that use the marina and find out how valuable he is to the place.
The side kick also never met, seems to wander in stir some trouble and leave, how important can he be, we have been here as liveaboards for almost a year and never met him!
Tim and his squad held the place togeather and had the respect of all who used the marina.
We would have been here two years ago if my wife had met Tim first, but unfortunately she met the side kick, who was rude, cheeky and very unhelpfull, so we went to Kip.
I have never heard a bad word about anybody who works here, all are very good at there jobs, accept one!
I know who i would get rid off.
I wish Tim all the best, and hope the owner realises what he has lost.

Having said all that maybe Tim just fancied a change, he loves boats & sailing and is staying in the industry, so im sure he wont be far away.....

I just got my bill for wintering ashore at Dunstaffnage, and as well as the usual invoice there was a compliments slip bearing the logo of "URS Marina Services", which I don't remember seeing before.

Might there be a connection here, or am I putting two and two together to make seven?
