Anyone know what the berthing situation is likely to be like? We got a berth in the marina last time we were tehre (2003) but the website isn;t very encouraging for this year:

If bringing your own boat, there is mooring along side the harbour wall and if you are really early or lucky there may be space in the marina.

I was there in 2009 and was told that it was possible to book a berth in advance, at least the person who told me said that's what he'd done. At a discount too..so he said. Might be worth a phone call to the harbourmaster.
