That'll learn them...

I'm taking a stand. I've decided not to watch the Royal Wedding on TV.

I strongly object to being ruled by the descendants of Scottish King James I.

So I will continue to boycott Royal Weddings until this 408 year Scots occupation of England ends!

When they read this post the McWindsors will really start to feel the pressure.

Thankyou, that is all.

I think you mean James VI. I thought the House of Stuart died out with the childless Bonnie PC and the throne reverted to some love child line. I'm not sure the House of Orange and the present German lot had any more relation to James VI than you or I, but then I can't say I really give a excrement.

PS if the software is going to change "shit" to "excrement", could it not also change the indefinite article to match? And what's wrong with "bastard" - "love child" doesn't make sense!

Not yet.

I naturally asssumed that once I'd made my announcement on BlueMoment the nationals would be camped on my doorstep. So far no sign of them.

I'd change the code on your messaging facility, if I were you.

I'd take care with any anti-monarchy comments. If the mob behaviour that accompanied Wullie's maw's funeral is even partially recreated for the nuptials in April, any adverse comments are likely to be taken as heresy and the perpetrator stoned.

I suspect agents from the daily express have already been assigned to keep an eye on you, so beware of strangers lurking.
Pity it's so early in the year, I spent Wullie's Maw's waddin' in ideal conditions sailing my corribee on the Clyde -all day, with the place to myself.
The next day I was the only ruddy-faced chap in a sea of peely-wally telly-watchers at work.

That was a great day for weather. I spent it on Beinn Dearg above Blair Atholl: inversion conditions and deer everywhere. We had spent the night in Kirkcaldy to get an early start north, but when in the morning discovery of missing boots was made, a frantic dash back into Edinburgh (including at one point 80 mph plus along Ferry Road) ensued. Total absense of Polis (or anyone else for that matter) about helped to preserve the clean DL...

Great reason to go sailing if you ask me. With a Bank Holiday Monday as well It could be a great weekend.
