So I was walking today and noticed on my phone that the new Eastoke Bouy at Chi Harbour Entrance isn't marked on Navionics charts.
I thought this was a good oppotunity to try out UGC. So I added it to the chart.
Apparently this has now been shared with the world.
If true, this is a little scary. Users can add nav features to chart data as they wish. Personally, I don't have a problem with this since it's clear what is UGC and what isn't & I'll take any user generated content with a pinch of salt.
I bet a lot of people don't like it, though, even though you can turn it off.
