The forum was updated to the latest software version (3.08) at around 11pm this evening and was down for approximately 20 minutes as a result.

Nick, prior to the update when I came to a thread via the "View unread posts" link, read it and pressed the "back" button, the thread I had just read no longer appeared in the list of unread posts. Now when I do the same thing that thread is still in the unread list.

It's working for me. Try logging out if yo are permanently logged in, and if that doesn't work then you might need to clear your cookies.

The update had screwed up the template for the theme I was using, so I have now reverted to the previous theme which is mysteriously working again. This appears to handle unread posts slightly differently . . .
