OYT Scotland is on the shortlist for £50k from "People’s Millions". They need your votes to win it. The fund will pay for adventure under sail for 84 young people in 2011 – young people who just wouldn’t get the chance otherwise. Do you have any connection with the OYT? A sometime crew of mine was mate aboard one of their boats for a couple of seasons way back when.

No commenction with OYT, I just see them as an organisation that has quietly gone about its business with no fuss (apart from the odd boat hitting the rocks) that gives many many folk an opportunity to experience sailing. No bling, no celebrity endorsements and if a few phone votes helps them get another £50k, then so much the better.

Saw this on the Clydesailing Forum and thought that the kind spirited foks on Bluemoment would add some support if they also knew about it.
