Vegas and Antares

So, I was slumming it in East Cowes last night. Lending the place some class were three Albin Vegas. Anyway, I got chatting, mentioned that I'd sailed a couple of years on a Nova a while back. Anyway I mentioned that I posted on a forum where a guy who lived in Scotland had a Vega. He came right back and said "Nick Bowles". Twas Steve, "Southern Comfort". (Posts on TOP.)

Freakily enough we'd already established that we'd playbed rugby for two obscure and closely rival teams in Worcestershire.

Small, small world.

Got home to find my Antares Charts have come. Will have a look later.

...and then it turns out I got a couple of shots of BobGoode from TOP outside Cowes. Although I didn't know it at the time.

Antares chartlets seem excellent (I can't vouch for their accuracy but they look right for the places I know) and can be viewed on google earth which is pretty neat.

Just over 20 locations at the moment. Really interesting to see how the project develops.
