I am in the process of converting our East Atlantic blog into book form with the intention of publishing it on Kindle. At the moment it is just copying and pasting then reformatting, pretty mechanical but I noticed this comment made shortly after leaving Cascais and heading out into the Atlantic:

- and 4 years later I have completely forgotten this observation as the water rises in the saloon . . .Discovered we were making a (very) little water in the bilge - I think it is because the electric bilge pump is teed into one of the cockpit drains and is taking a little in when the drains go under in this following sea. We are talking two strokes per hour, so hardly critical!
