or one like it ...

20-25 metres long, 4 mtrs wide, two decent double cabins, central heating, fully equipped kitchen/galley, generator, bow thruster and got RCD Cat C. *And* some have a 4, 5 or 6 cylinder Gardner diesel - that's a proper engine.

The daughter arrived with the grandchildren. After emptying the contents of her car with the kids stuff into the house, I could see that our existing boat couldn't cope. Modern children seem to require an awful lot of logistics and supply to keep them on the move with clean bums.

I quite fancy chuntering doon the French canals swigging wine and munching fresh and decent grub ...

A wee bit more than a dormobile perhaps, but a lot more fun?

It looks great.

I like a house with a nice big garden - plenty of trees for privacy. And you'd have a lovely view of the river as long as that ugly old barge moves on.
