Aren't Wives Thoughtful?

Today I had planned a day doing a few jobs on the boat and then having a few hours out on the water. First job was to investigate my engine stop cable. After much huffing and puffing I got the old cable off and realised it was broke. Up to the chandlers who hadn't got one but could get one for £27 + VAT.
I decided to investigate on the web so came home(after much trial and tribulation, but that's another story). Got home, did a bit of googling and came up with a similar item on eBay for about £9.50 all in, which I bought and hopefully will attempt to fit later this week.
As I was home my wife introduced me to our new wallpaper steamer and insisted that I help redecorate one of our rooms, to save me having to go back to the marina and get more done on Amaranthe.
Wasn't that thoughtful of her?

Your fault for purchasing the steamer in the first place.
Thats what happened inthe FC household too, except it wasnt just one room.

You should just count the brownie points like I'm doing.

I took my Daughter and 5 month old Grand Daughter up to my Mothers so they could have a look at their great grandchild for the first time. Stormy and me then spent the day doing retail therapy and running them round. Then dropped them off at home a mere 45 miles from Aquaplane towers.

The Christening is mid Sept, I suppose I should stay away from the boat for that too. Fancy having a christening in a month that could be considered a sailing season month, irresponsible I call it.
