If Mr & Mrs Para had not been feeling unwell, and so returned home without coming for a sail, I had a notion to call into Whitehaven as part of my planned Irish sea cruise. It would have been Wednesday....

Gosh, how fortunate. Otherwise i suppose frinstance that poor estate agent would have had para giving him some jip about ridiculous house prices as the very *last* thing that happened to him before being killed, which would have been awful.

Para cannot speak - he's blaming it on the ride back from Oban. Says he's never been quite the same since.....

hm,not being very nice about my car- it well known that at even quite high speeds the only noise you can hear is para snoring. And i wd have thought he was pretty immune to that sound by now. However, on return to leafy Oxfordshire he was greeted by his sunny smiling swmbo who had helpfully pulled the entire house contents to bits, some sort of extreme spring cleaning i think...

I believe this is contributing to his current malaise.Apparently Krupps of Essen did make some fine armaments, as my Mum's Brother Frank would testify - had he survived the blast. Their Kitchens do leave a little to be desired according to the sage P.Handy. Mrs P seems pleased with his overall contributions to date but obviously this is a moveable feast and this good opinion could change. It won't be the first time he's been here.
There's a lot to be said for having a wife who doesn't like spring cleaning.
