Another Anode

Weel - Oot she came yestarday fer a wash an antifool.
The wee Fleetwood water fekkers have eaten completely the anode an so am thinking of dangling anither over the side oan a piece o wire.
Do any of youse do this and if so whit dae ye hang it fae?

I do this, and have done since we met some rather hairy leccy installations in the Med.
I pick up part used anodes from the yard, connect a cable and dangle...
The ship end of the cable has a stainless 1" pipeclip (like you use to fix the outboard bracket to the pushpit) attached. This is a snug fit onto the stanchion nearest the prop.
The stanchion fixing bolts then have a cable joined to the main anode. (Through the hanging locker in the aft cabin, very easy run for us)
When deployed, a couple of turns round the stanchion take the weight, and the whole thing can be quickly unclipped and stowed. The cable length is short of the prop. Needs a poly bag for storage as it's mingin' when it comes aboard.
