I've watched a few hours of this over the past few days and there's some good stuff in the nauticalish line. Just in case there are others who have paid as little attention to this as I...
I enjoyed Classic Ships (anything narrated by John Peel has a head start in my book) and in particluar the first episode, Britannia.
I can't imagine how I missed Shackleton the first time around. Very true to his book South (albeit in short hand and which I have just finished reading) with Kenneth Branagh in the title role. I even enjoyed the fillum about the making of the fillum.
Trafalgar Battle Surgeon is a must for the fans of Patrick O'Brian, if for no other reason and even The Unsinkable Titanic had something new to say - or new to me at least.
