I don't think you should ban him/her. I've read some of its posts in TOP and they seem very childish. Surely, if we let it post here our responses would soon scare it off; we'd have the measure of it without a doubt. If you do ban The Crimson Thingy (actually I notice you have not as I've just viewed its member profile which is still active) then it'll just register using another ID or another server. Just my thoughts. Off to Southampton this pm.

I wondered how long it would take 'JackJ' to post on this subject. Banning someone doesn't remove them from the Members list, it just stops them from logging in or posting.

He has been banned because he is a sad boatless troll and this is a sailing forum. Anyone else I suspect of being a sad boatless troll will receive the same treatment.
