This is nae a boatie question, but ah jist thought ah wid ask ony o' youse whit bide roon' aboot Glesgae fit the SECC wiz like for seein' a show.

SWMBO an' youngest lassie wint tae ging an' see "Strictly come dancing", but the only seats are in tiered seating at the back. Whit ah' wiz winderin' wiz, wid they see onythin' frae the back o' the place?

Jim, I have been to a few things at the SECC. Solong as you are sitting with a reasonable angle on the front of the stage it's not bad although you are some distance away; seats on the extreme right or left are pretty pants frankly. A lot of events use big screns behind the acts and that helps to give you some close up detail. The last thing I was at was Fleetwood Mac, a great concert and completely satisfactory form the tiered seats at the back, our line of sight was about 40 deg left of staright on to the midddle of the stage.

Have to say we avoid it if pos.
The stage can be very far away, and exiting the carparks at the end is chaos.
