Jings! Brrrr....
Two days ago, Shard, on the hard, was covered in snow and ice, which made stepping about on the deck a bit hazardous. Emptied a stack of stuff off the boat, but, ahem, still have to remove the sails......
It'll be time to go back in soon.

Looks like the Clyde at Lanark to me, there's been a fair bit of rain recently!

Quite near Beamer?
Any implications for the racing when they use it as a new bridge pier?

The guy with the balaclava is saying 'I don't give a f*** where you are going to post the picture, I'm not smiling for the camera, now get this boat back to the pontoon.

Actually he's trimming the genny.... and a wee bit earlier he was trimming the spinnaker.
T'was a trifle chilly at first but it warmed up and my floatation suit was, if anything, a bit too warm.

Good on you for getting out. We've been busy with the house and not sailed this last six weeks. Maybe boxing day.

I hae me doubts that there will be money to build it in my lifetime but PEYC have taken the precaution of buying a committee boat so that starts can move away from the Port Edgar breakwater - and also to prevent the crowding at one end or the other of the line as umpteen boats all try to dodge (or gain from) the tide.
When they were cladding the rail bridge in scaffolding the safety boat was awfy keen on keeping boats away from where they were working so I imagine H&E would frown on a fleet of yachts racing under the construction work. Whether it will affect racing when completed - I think it is wait and see.
