Webb Chiles rocks. (Check out his interview on FurledSails.com).
I noticed some of his out of print books are available as free PDFs on his web site:

Actually while I'm on a roll this guys seems pretty good too, again a free book, this time HTML format:

I've learned a lesson this week. In the internet age sourcing excellent books is so fast that you just never have the time to read them all. I long for the good old days when an excellent sailing book was a once a year treat to be savoured. Now I seem to gallop through books almost dreading finding something else to read...
