No need tae be worried!
i'm still working on sailing south for the winter just to get some jobs done.
We had a good look at Claymore and there's some signs of neglect beginning to show - woodwork mostly - Liz thinks the sink is a mess and wants to upgrade it, the bilges all could do with repainting and we are still trying to get rid of Mr Zannussi's handywork with the sikkens drips.
The cost of fuel to Kilmelford for the weekend has crept to over the £60 mark and I'm so busy at work that stealing a whole weekend is getting ever more difficult.
The yacht club is mid-way between home and work (about 7 minutes!) and it costs £4:50 a week to keep the boat there on the hard.
Plan A is to be in by Easter and if the weather is ok - I have a week then when we could get back north. If not then am thinking the Chents cruise may turn into a trup uptae Argyll or a cruise in company wi Shard from Ailsa Craig if he's thinking of going back up to his summer quarters then.

No' a bad suggestion....

Sounds a good idea. All a bit weather dependent as usual, but we'll probably also head north at Easter unless it's grim. Could chum you round the Mull (Rathlin this time? - we couldn't make it last Easter), or, second choice, through the canal.
