Commiserations. Five places is a bit extreme though - racing, or just lousy weather? Either way, a bummer. Hope it's fixable.

Just the UV strip I believe but don't open any other posts on the East Coast Forum since they are being spammed with some paticularly horrible porn atm - seriously.

Seems to be a major attack on all the forums now with stolen mod/admin access and multiple user ID's.

Hmmm. We've also had to get ours repaired again (just done last year) - the strong winds in early part of the season put too much strain on it.

I did wonder if it was the Jermain Catamaran ramming guy or the sea horse guy, but I doubt it. FWIW I'd have prefered to have heard "Jermain Catamaran ramming guy's" side of the story before his name was plastered on blogs and on the main site as 'news'.

Who is Jermain Catamaran ramming guy? Did someone ram James Jermain's catamaran? I've missed it all apparently due to watching Torchwood.

Not many peeps would know how to flood a UBB board in the way you describe - I certainly wouldn't know how to go about it - so I doubt it is a pissed off poster from today - it is more likely to have been some time in the planning. It certainly sounds malicious though.
